![]() Statistics for: ?-English FLAC 5.1 (US BD)Ĭhannel 1 Channel 2 Channel 3 Channel 4 Channel 5 Channel 6 These are the statistics for all 4 tracks generated by Sony SoundForge: įoobar2000 1.3.7 / Dynamic Range Meter 1.1.1 819MB for the 16-bit ones.Īll in all, I need help from someone who knows more about audio than me. ![]() You can imagine there's also quite a difference in size. Does the almost identical dynamic range (except US) imply that 24-bit is pointless/not justified? Could one of the reasons be due to loudness?Īlso, eac3to has detected US & GER tracks as 24-bit tracks and CAN & NOR 16-bit. US doesn't look right (chopped peaks, less dynamic range), and the others have almost identical dynamic range (according to foobar's plug-in) but their graphs look pretty different. They have all been converted to FLAC and I'm having trouble choosing an audio track. Now I'm not sure if I did this properly, but I used Sony SoundForge Pro and foobar's dynamic range meter v1.1.1 What I'm trying to do is compare different audio tracks for the same movie (different Blu-ray releases).
